Just a 'hello' to let people know I've joined. I'm an archaeoethnobotany student in California, looking for a few ethnobotany communities to take part in. I hope I can contribute and learn here. Thanks!

Welcome to the group! Do they actually have courses for that now? That is amazing! That is an area of interest to me, too, but admittedly my emphasis is ancient Egypt. :)

I really look forward to having you post here. :)

"archaeoethnobotany"? Cool! Honestly, I sometimes feel a bit like that what I've been studying & practicing. (I have an MSTOM degree, which means traditional chinese medical herbology (and acupuncture)).

Too bad you're on the west coast. If you were here (NYC), you might like the exhibit that the met has at the moment: Medicine of Ancient Egypt.

In other words, I'm going to be eating Ramen forever.

heh...Sounds like Egyptology! It's publish or perish in fields like these I am afraid.
