May. 8th, 2003 01:14 pmThis weekend, it is my intent to make some herbal beers with my son. He has been clamoring for me to make ginger beer again, and he wants to try his hand at traditional root beer. I just placed an order for my ingredients if it comes out successfully. In my travels today. I came across a really great website on making your own soft drinks. I thought you all might be interested.

Date: 2003-05-08 12:04 pm (UTC)I've got a book on the subject around here somewhere. . . hah. Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers: The Secrets of Ancient Fermentation, by Stephen Harrod Buhner. I think someone in
It's got a lot of information about various plants used in particular brews and what they're used for, and has a goodly few recipes as well.
Figured I'd mention in case someone else was interested. :) I haven't done anything in it yet, so I can't speak to its recipes directly.
