"...medicine is simultaneously an art, a philosophy, a science, and a craft; it treats the human being as an entity of mind, and body in a bilogical and cultural circumstance from which he or she cannot be extricated." - "Planet Medicine: Vol 1 Origins" by Richard Grossinger
This group has been inactive almost nearly from its inception. I would like to see that change. Since I am starting on teaching about herbs as part of what I am doing for my own work, I decided to pick up the slack and start putting out what I have found and have read. I welcome everyone in the group to comment, to post and to also get involved in the discussions.
All of us are a part of the collective of the healing community. We each bring with us our own set of viewpoints, cultural backgrounds and various modalities. Each of these things are valuable to the community as a whole, so please don't cheat your fellow community members out of knowing those things from your perspective that only you can give! It is important, especially now. We owe it to ourselves, each other and the world at large to continue and carry on the healing traditions that are so often being forgotten or worse legislated out of existence.
I will try to post as much as I can in an effort to get us back up and going again. Please invite your healing/inclined friends to be a part of this group. I am thinking about opening the membership again. I would very much like to know the thoughts of everyone on this.
